The DNA of Stone & Bone – Commissioned by Skye Bridge Studios

This was a commission by Skye Bridge Studios to make a short film that could be used to help pitch for funds to stage an exciting new play. The play was written by Peter Cox MBE and is an evocative and multi-layered, non-linear piece that weaves together the three nations of Scotland, Wales and Ireland through the words of its characters. No actors have been cast as yet so the challenge was to evoke a sense of what the play is about without actually showing a real performance.

Working with Peter and studio owner Jonathon I devised the script, drawing heavily on the words already in the play.

Hopefully the film will help attract funding so that this wonderful play can be brought to life and shared with audiences across Scotland and beyond
